Well i may have had to call out the RAC twice: once in Birmingham and once in Bodmin BUT the TR7 is now all tucked away nice and cozy in my lock up. And, lets be fair to it, it made it all the way to Bodmin from Birmingham, the car is older than me!
Admittedly, i have bartered with every mechanic in Newquay to work on the car over winter in exchange for some airbrush work on their cars/bikes/helmets...yes there are a lot of people involved, i thought it would be best!!!! BUT...she says hopefully, by next summer, she's going to be running beautifully (as much as a TR7 can) with a stunning airbrush piece on it by yours truly. The car even has a good sense of humour; with a sporty 911 number plate on it my TR7 does a very good impression of a porche... those of you that are a bit more pessimistic may suggests that it is more reminiscent of an infamous tragedy! So, the big plan is to fix it up, paint it black, put a bird of prey (as my company is silverbird) on the bonnet with true fire flailing from front to back. If anyone has any other suggestions then please comment. Big love D x
