Today i'll be mostly working on Jim Morrison tank again but unfortunately i'll only have a few hours at the workshop :-(. Other jobs coming in soon are a wolf and lion  helmet which i'll be doing in silver and black, a whole load of gig boxes for the fantastic ska band "Ten Bob Notes", and i'll also be adding some red writing to the 'blue true fire ' job i did on the suzuki. 

Don't forget to look out for the Triumph thunderbird i did in Octobers issue of 100% biker!

After a rather boring week of doing accounts and catching up on computer work i am please to say i'm back in the workshop today. I'll be airbrushing more on Jim Morrison and i'll try and do a bit more on the moths, lots of tiny detail in them so no doubt my hand will be aching by the end of the day. Any way if you're local please pop in and say hi, you're very welcome, especially if you bring gifts in the form of food and hot chocolate :-)))) x I'll put some photos up later.

Here's a little more work done on the Jim Morrison tank, just started to add a bit of black to his face to help define it more. I haven't used any stencils for no other reason other than i prefer to work free hand. I'm still undecided on whether to use colour or keep this monochrome??? hmmm choices. More on J

Just a little advice, if you are planning on getting a portrait done of your loved ones, having a motorbike helmet painted for a Christmas pressie, or simply just spoiling yourself for the festive season, please book in early to avoid disappointment. It seems that come December, everyone wants stuff airbrushed at once and there is only one of me... night matey pips :-) x

Evening all. This is what i've been airbrushing today, it's work in progress and this is only the first layer if you like, so far only white has been used. I've been using auto-borne auto-air paint and have found it so much better to airbrush fine detail with as opaque white is generally a bit of a biaatch to work with. Definitely recommend it. 

For those of you who don't know (may lightning strike you down!), this is a portrait of Jim Morrison, who was THE legendary rock star who fronted the band "The Doors". 

I decided to put the skulls and the death's head moths with it as i get the feeling he played very close to death during his life... As all good rock stars do i guess! 
Not sure whether to stay monochrome or colour with this one, perhaps a mix of both.... watch this space x
