
In the meantime I've had a little practice at some silver 'true fire' flames, these are kinda hard to achieve as normal true fire is done with 'candy colours' which are very transparent paints to achieve a 'lit up' look. Silver is opaque which makes it much harder to make the flames imitate real fire... but i've attached a little first attempt i did on a scrap bit of car for you to have a little look at. i'll hopefully be doing something like it on my own car and motorbike - being silverbird n all ;-). I think the effect is pretty cool and actually looks much better in day light as the sunlight reflects off of the silver paint which makes it almost holographic. let me know what you think. there are two pics, first with without lacquer and second with.
