Well hello there!

It's been a long time since i've blogged, and if i'm honest juggling motherhood, work and looking after my menagerie takes up most of my time but i had a spare 5 minutes this morning so here i am. 

I have been a little quieter on the airbrush side of things because i'm in the middle of adding another string to my bow. Over the past 9 months or so i have been learning the art of tattooing which i am absolutely loving. I have no intention of giving up airbrushing, i love it too much but i am also really loving tattooing and the freedom to design stuff where i can just let my imagination run wild.  At the moment i am gathering a portfolio together and i'm working on some quite big pieces, as soon as they are finished i will add a page to my website where you can view my work.

In the meantime; if you are interested in getting a tattoo from me with a custom design, please feel free to contact me. I am only charging apprentice rates at the moment of £30/hour and this price will probably only be available until approximately the end of 2018.

A massive thank you to everyone for all of your support over the years and i hope you will continue to follow me in this new adventure.

Sometimes i get asked to do paintings in memory of a loved one. This particular  request was a challenge as the customer only had a few old photos of the subject (his dad). He also wanted to create a memory, he's dad was an avid poker player and taught his son (the customer) everything he knows about poker. A lot of the games were played in the family home, mainly in the kitchen where trinkets of family memories also lived. It was my job to recreate this memory in a painting... i don't have photoshop or the knowledge to use it, i just haven't had the time to teach my self. So... here's a photo of the painting with the photo i used to create the composition. x

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all my lovely customers. I can honestly say it's been a pleasure to meet every one of you. I always feel very honoured that all of you have completely trusted in me for the art work you have commissioned, quite often these commissioned have been more than just a painting, they have been sentimental to you, gifts for your loved ones or to commemorate someone close to your heart. It is always very humbling to do these paintings and i want you all to know that i feel very privileged to play a part in it. Art is often seen as something that isn't a necessity but i think you all have taught me just how important it is.

If anyone read my magazine article they may remember at the end of it i wrote about how great it would be to get a sponsor? .... Well my wish was granted! The lovely Del at the custom paint shop have supplied me with their amazing "Inspire H2O" paints. I'm not just saying it these paints are an absolute pleasure to work with, they flow sooooo nicely. I love the fact they come in dropper bottles too, makes it so easy for mixing colours. Barely any tip try; which can be a real pain in the arse when you're doing a lot of detailed work. I've got lots of plans coming up with The Custom Paint Shop, including a how to video, collaborating with them at the next KKBO show 2016 and maybe even some teaching with them at their base County Durham. 
I"m working on a detailed Avengers panel with my new inspire paints at the moment so I'll post some photos soon and you can see for yourself how good they are xx

Wa hooooooo!!! Setting off for Lincolnshire now, sleeping in a van tonight somewhere to be ready for the Kustom Kulture Blast-Off convention tomorrow!!!

Only visiting this year but checking it out with the potential of working there next year. Can't wait to see loads of other artists work, learn more about pinstriping and get loads of inspiration.

Here's the first section of the Hayabusa I'm working on, it's based on the film "Midnight Express". There's lots more to come, this is only the pillion seat cover that i've done but the whole bike is getting a airbrushed so pretty excited about it! I'm hoping the Terminator Harley and this Busa will both be shown at the Kustom Blastoff show in September if i can get this done in time...fingers crossed.
